Creative Content Manager

Overview: For the creative storytellers who love music, this is your dream role! Working directly with music producers, videographers and all kinds of creative folk, you'll help tell the story of Noiiz by creating exceptional video and editorial content. Sometimes you'll be running complex projects with many moving parts and lots of people to manage, other times you'll be rolling up your sleeves and utilising your creative skills to create content directly. Job Description:

  • Help tell the story of Noiiz through various forms of media, educate members and showcase the true value what we do.
  • Produce exceptional video and editorial content from ideation to production to analysis.
  • Find and collaborate with talented music producers, freelancers, contractors, Noiiz community members and agencies to produce creative and engaging editorial and video content.
  • Ensure content is discoverable by new prospects via multiple channels, including Google (SEO), Youtube, Email, Social Media etc.
  • Help improve company wide KPI's such as New Customer Acquisition and Retention, through the content you produce.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns, growth initiatives and PR.
  • Work closely with the Sound Content and Software teams to build narrative around new products and sound projects.
  • Help us empower more people to find joy in producing music!

Skills and Requirements:

  • 3 years+ professional experience in a marketing, video production or editorial role in a professional environment.
  • A portfolio of exceptionally high quality video and editorial content.
  • An understanding of Noiiz and the market they operate in.
  • Creative abilities to conceptualise and execute exceptional content, sometimes directly, sometimes through outsourcing.
  • Excellent management and operational abilities and a proven track record of getting stuff done.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary, depending on experience.
  • 38 days holiday per year (includes public holidays and a Christmas break, the dates of which will be confirmed year on year.)
  • Option to work from home, remotely, or from Noiiz HQ in Leeds.

C++ Audio Developer

Overview: If you're a highly experienced software developer who's motivated by creating genuine value and seeing the fruits of your labour come to life, you'll love working at Noiiz. We're looking for a talented C++ Developer to help us build the next generation of music software and change the way people make music forever. You'll be part of a small but growing team and be involved throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from software design and architecture through to development and testing. We work remotely (or you're welcome to work from our Leeds offices or a co-working space), offer great benefits, flexible hours and a competitive salary.

Job Description:

  • Develop new audio software products in C++ using the JUCE framework, sometimes independently, sometimes in small teams.
  • Follow best practices by writing efficient, reusable and reliable code.
  • Help maintain code quality, organisation and automation.
  • Manage and delegate work to contractors and other developers from time to time.
  • Help recruit new developers, implement processes and improve knowledge and skills within the team.
  • Work to Agile principles and strive for continuous improvement.
  • Write automated and manual tests as required.

Skills:

  • Extremely competent in C++ with a proven track record/portfolio of developing high quality, large scale, complex software products.
  • Experience building highly functional and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of modern software development practices including Agile principles, automated testing, iterative product development and version control.
  • Thorough understanding of the need to produce working software over perfect software, balancing the needs of code quality with time.
  • Ability to respond to feedback well and work within a fast paced, ever changing environment.
  • Project management and experience leading development teams desired.
  • Specialist knowledge of audio software development, music production, music information retrieval, machine learning, or DSP is desirable.
  • Knowledge of other software languages, particularly web technologies, are desirable.
  • 5+ years commercial experience as a lead developer or equivalent role, ideally within an audio organisation is highly desired.

Sound Content Project Manager

Overview: If you live and breathe music and sound, this is quite possibly the perfect job for you. You'll be hands on writing music, designing sounds, recording instruments, working with the industries most talented musicians, producers and engineers and executing complex projects through from ideation to production to release. You'll help lead Noiiz's original content strategy, build a team of artists and content producers and also be closely involved in developing and testing new software products. Jobs this good don't come up very often!

Job Description:

  • Lead Noiiz's original content strategy by developing & producing exceptionally high quality sounds, virtual instruments, software presets, original music and other sound related content
  • Design and execute large scale sound recording and post production projects, delivering exceptionally high quality results
  • Grow and manage a network of artists, freelancers, music studios & engineers across the world
  • Deliver a high frequency of content whilst maintaining excellent quality control standards & managing a monthly budget
  • Work closely with software engineering on building the next generation of connected music production software
  • Work closely with marketing to deliver high quality, engaging video and editorial content around Noiiz Original Content projects
  • Work closely with the Noiiz's Creators team and wider community to help craft Noiiz's overall sound strategy

Skills:

  • Exceptionally talented music producer/sound designer/sound engineer with a portfolio of original projects
  • Highly capable of creating original music and sound design, with an intuitive ability to recognise high quality production
  • Ability to listen to sound objectively, understand and empathise with users and work with music across a wide range of styles and genres
  • Extensive knowledge of past, current and potential future musical styles, the music production market, recording/post production equipment and techniques.
  • Professional experience in a technology startup, sound design/film scoring or music production company is desired
  • Experience running large scale recording projects, working to briefs and deadlines and managing teams is desired
